Persuasive Writing
Do you know what a good friend is? I was killed by people I thought were my friends but I was wrong. Looking back on this you can’t trust people who have lied to you and you should trust your loved one’s before your friends.
Brutus might say its okay to ruin a friendship for the country but I disagree, I didn’t do anything to hurt the country. In fact I helped it was going to give some of people in Rome seventy-five drachmas and some land. I was betrayed by the people who I thought were my friends so therefore I couldn’t do those things for the people.
First off you can’t trust people who have lied to you. According to Brutus, “Every like is not the same, O Caesar the heart of Brutus earns to think upon,” (II.i.128). In other words, Brutus is saying to himself those who appear to be friends are not friends at all. I thought when they came to my house they wanted to take me to the capital as my friends and celebrate me becoming king but I was wrong they just wanted to get me there to kill me. I thought I could trust Brutus and he was my friend but he lied to me he was only going to kill me in the end. You can’t trust people that you think you know because of that reason you think there looking out for you but really they aren’t.
Secondly, you should always trust your loved ones before you trust your friends. I state “How foolish do your fears seem now Calphurnia,” (II.ii.105). In other words, I believed Calphurnia’s fear of me dieing was not true, I believed what my so called friends were telling me which was that I was going to be crowned king. I should have listened to Calphurnia I shouldn’t have even gone to the capital because if I wouldn’t have gone I wouldn’t be dead right now finding out who my real friends are. You should always trust your first instinct, which mine was to stay home like my wife wanted me too, but instead I decided to be persuaded to go to the capital where I was killed and betrayed. I have learned you should always believe your loved one’s there always the one’s looking out for you the most not your friends.
There might be good friends out there who actually care about you but my friends weren't those types of friends they were only going to betray me and kill me. I have learned your loved one’s are the people you should trust not your friends and I have also learned you can’t trust people who have lied to you. I have showed you what happens when you don’t do those things, so trust me when I tell you these things you don’t want to turn out like me.

POW #4
Dear Portia,
My husband Caeser won't listen to me, I told him that I had this really bad dream and that I feel like he is going to get into some trouble. Once I told him this he didn't want to stay home but then he finally decided we was going to listen to me, but once his friends came over they convinced him my dream met something different so he left anyways. It really frustrates me because I really have a feeling something really bad is going to happen to him and he won't listen and he doesn't think this dream means anything. I feel like I can't do say anything to him because he wont listen to anything I tell him. he is very stubborn and does only what he wants. I really need some advice on how to get through to him so if you could write back that would be great!

I know husbands can be very frustrating sometimes, but you just have to find a way to get through to him. I suggest you sit down with him and discuss everything that bothers you about him, and try to make him understand that he needs to trust you when you tell him the dream was bad. Tell him that if he doesnt start trusting you more that your relationship wont get any better or even worse it might end your marriage. Next time this happens dont let him leave the house, say give me so authority around here and be able to make some decisions on your own. I hope I was some help write me back if there is anymore problems I would be glad to help.

AOW #3
Dear Dr. Berry,
Why in the world would someone want to go back to school for two extra days of school? We have had six snow days and I heard you want us to go back for two days. We shouldn't have to go back to school for two days because they won't have anything for us to do and everyone's minds by the last week of school is on summer and no one will be focused.
Some people might say that we have enough time to accomplish more ciriculum in that two extra day time period, but I disagree I don't accredit two days is enough to accomplish a learning trait that I will understand.
The teachers will not have much school work planned out to keep the children intrested enough to not have the word summer in the back of their minds. The teachers think that they can plan out fun activities for the students to participate in but the students will most likely have no motivation to do them. Some students won't even come to school because they don't feel the need to come to school for two days, and some might have already planned vactions right after school gets out. Some people will come to school the two extra days but some won't so the people who come will be ahead of the ones that don't come. Not only are the teachers not going to have things for us to do it's not our fault it snowed 20 inches, so you shouldn't make us pay by staying two extra days and the kids won't be focused enough to do school work.
The students won't be focused enough to do school work and nothing will get turned it. The teachers need a break also they wont want to make up assignments for the kids to do. It't not worth going to school for the two extra days because we have already moved on from the assignments we missed caused by the snow days. Most likely we would just be goofing off not doing any serious work so we might as well just get the two days off of school, if they think it's that big of a deal we can just take two days off our spring break. If you really sat down and thought about this you would think two days isn't worth going to school and cutting into our summer vaction.
There may be a possiblity we will have school for the two extra days, but there is only one choise that would make the most sence. You should choose not to make us stay after the extra two days because we there is nothing for else to do and the student won't try and they will be so ready for summer school will be the last thing on their mind

AOW #2
I chose a picture of when I was in competitive cheer! I love that picture because the second after we performed we hugged and the photographer captured the picture. This picture stuck with me because we did soooo good we hit everything and thats why we hugged each other so I just remembered that picture. I remember that competition we rode in a bus to Oklahoma and we got to go out of town to perform which made it so much more fun. That friend I took the picture with, she quit the next year which was very sad because she was my best friend and now we don't talk anymore. I will always remember that picture.

AOW#1 nursing student assignment
Ms. Byrnes is not guilty, she doesnt deserve to be expelled from nursing school. First off she didn't think it was a big deal to put the picture on facebook, she asked the teacher and she just chuckled and said "oh you girls" so her teacher didnt say she couldn't put it on there. When the teacher found out she had the picture on there she told Ms. Byrnes that she needed to take it down right away and so she did and then she asked her teacher if she is in trouble and her teacher said no she wasn't. The nursing student was planning on getting married to her fiance and moving away and getting a nursing job but now she can't because she made this one mistake. She is only a student yeah it was a little immature to put a picture of a someone elses placenta on facebook, but she is still a student she is still learning and to be expelled and to never be able to be a nurse is pretty drastic. I think as her attorney that she should be allowed to go back to school maybe not right away but at least be able to get a job for nursing sometime in her life.

My name is Bailey, my name is my mom's maiden name she decided to name me that because she really liked that name. My name is english it doesnt have any other origin in my name. Well if my mom took her maiden name again i would be named Bailey Bailey so that would kind of be weird. I like my name not very many people have that name mosttly people are named haley but not bailey. My nickname is Bay lots of my friends call me that.
